While it can feel challenging at times, the rewards of allowing, encouraging or pursuing continuous spiritual life can include a greater sense of purpose, inner peace and connection to something greater than oneself.
But That's Not Quite What Is Meant?
Yes, true, you are correct. Spirit Australia definitely encourages the physical human viewpoint from the question above, but there is more to life than just our human point of view. The leap here is that "continuous spiritual life" already exists; whether we pay attention to it or not. We are permanently spirit, living temporarily in a physical body. So How Does That Work?
It's quite simple, really. We are not living in a body, and have a spirit self (as well as a physical, emotional and intellectual self). It's far more straightforward than that. We are spirit first, and spirit last. And spirit in between, too! Our spiritual self, our soul, remains present when our physical bodies die. Our spiritual self, our soul, was present before we were born into physical bodies. We ARE spirit. Living temporarily in a physical body.
