What?
1. Continuous
Life
The reality of continuous spiritual life...
Spirit Australia members understand the reality that we are permanently spirit, living temporarily in a physical body.
What Does Spiritual Life Mean Exactly?
From a physical, human, logical point of view, spiritual life includes a commitment to ongoing personal growth and development, as well as a willingness to explore and deepen one's spiritual experiences, beliefs and practices. While it can feel challenging at times, the rewards of allowing, encouraging or pursuing continuous spiritual life can include a greater sense of purpose, inner peace and connection to something greater than oneself.
But That's Not Quite What Is Meant?
Yes, true, you are correct. Spirit Australia definitely encourages the physical human viewpoint from the question above, but there is more to life than just our human point of view. The leap here is that "continuous spiritual life" already exists; whether we pay attention to it or not. We are permanently spirit, living temporarily in a physical body. And that's another viewpoint altogether!

So How Does That Work?
It's quite simple, really. We are not living in a body, and have a spirit self (as well as a physical, emotional and intellectual self). It's far more straightforward than that. We are spirit first, and spirit last. And spirit in between, too! Our spiritual self, our soul, remains present when our physical bodies die. Our spiritual self, our soul, was present before we were born into physical bodies. We ARE spirit. Living temporarily in a physical body.

A Draft Question?
Here's a draft answer and it will be properly answered soon. This text writing is about providing a fuller explanation of the foundation statements for Spirit Australia. It will have two or three sentences involved; some longer and some shorter. We will work hard to ensure the wording and meannings are simple, clear and conscise.

Statement One
There's a lot to cover, so writing accurately with brevity, using simple language, is essential. Perhaps there will be a short sentence. Then again, there could be longer and more complex sentences too, encompassing various concepts or examples, for particular reasons. But the less words, the better.

Statement Two
A second statement will be necessary to make a second point. It's important to remember that a website must be fit for purpose; we are writing educational material for general public viewing and it is essential that we use phrasing and word choices that are easy for second language speakers as well as people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. We want to empower people as they read. Meet them where they are.

Summary Paragraph
By now the point has been well made and well understood. It's not going to be possible to include all possible viewpoints, or fuller explanations, while writing so briefly. But the inspiration that a reader may have will hopefully prompt excitement, curiousity and further exploration on the topic.
